Editing after feedback
To get this circle shape, I went on the shape tool, eclipse and placed this shape onto my image. I then went onto the text tool and typed "Free" "Fashion" "Magazine" and then merged all 4 of these layers to make them into one. After that I used the magic wand tool to select the words and clicked delete to delete the text; this created the circle to read out the words.
By using the shape tool, eclipse I was able to create this black circle. I changed the opacity of this shape as the black was very dominant on my page.
This is a close up of the text I selected and deleted. The background and circle reads the text. I changed the colour of the circle to white by clicking the paint bucket tool. I changed it to white as it contrasted with the background making it stand out, which is appealing to my target audience.
Using the text I was able to put text into the black circle I created. I then used the shape tool to create a box which I put in the circle to make the Topshop stand out, which will be more appealing for the target audience. I changed the 20% to purple to again make it stand out. This is appealing to my target audience as it is for young women and the offer will be used by them. I also placed the free fashion magazine circle, so I could add more texts about articles.
I selected the free fashion magazine layer and double clicked to create a drop shadow.
By altering the distance and speed it created a glowing shadow, so that the circle stood out. It was important that it stood out as it was advertising that it was free and a fashion genre magazine, which would appeal to my target audience being young females.
By clicking on my masthead layer I was able to create a drop shadow. Altering the speed and distance created a glow underneath the text, which created the effect of a shadow. I then turned down the opacity of the masthead as the white was to harsh. It was important that the masthead was the biggest sized font and had serif font, as this appeals to my target audience being young female as it connotes sophistication and elegance.
By using the paint bucket tool I was able to change the "20" to black instead of white. I then created a bullet point by using the shape tool eclipse. After that I used the text tool to create text. I then went to change the text colour to black.
I decided to change the "20" to lilac by using the paint bucket tool as it stood out more. By using the shape tool I was able to create a box where I put my new text in. I then changed the text and bullet point to white by using the paint bucket tool. I did this to to make it stand out, appealing to my target audience.
