I used the crop tool to crop this image. The reason why I used this tool is to remove public from the photo. This made the photo more appealing to the target audience as it focused on the model and he beauty/fashion, which suited the genre of the magazine.

I have looked at magazines such as Vogue, Elle and cosmopolitan. The models they use have flawless skin, and defined make up. In order for me to each the "flawless" look for Darcy I used the spot healing tool and clone to remove any spots of her face. This created her to be an ideal self/partner. I always used the crop tool to get rid of the background, as it had public in it, this could have caused a distraction.

Here you can see the spot healing tool in the left hand corner. I used this tool to remove any spots/scabs that appeared on the models skin. I did this as it is appealing to the target audience, as it created an ideal self/partner. The reason for doing this was magazine I had copied such as Vogue and Elle had flawless skinned models.

This is a screen record of me editing two photos that will be included in my magazine. I mainly used the spot healing tool and clone tool to remove any spot that appeared on the models face. I used the blur tool to smoothen her face as well.
FINAL
I used the spot healing and clone stamp tool to remove any spots/scars or cuts that appeared on her face. The reason why I did this is because magazines I have looked at such as Vogue and Cosmopiltion all have a flawless look for their models. They usually have perfect skins, so I edited my models face to look flawless. This then created an Ideal self/partner, as the image was "perfect". I also used the blur tool slightly around the background to out focus it as I wanted to emphasise the model.

EDITING
I used the liquify tool to lift her jawline up.
FINAL
The only editing I did for this image was using the liquefy tool to fix up her jawline, again this is to create a perfect/flawless look. Magazine that also create this perfect look are Vogue and Elle, which is why I patiches them. This was appealing to my target audience as it created an ideal self/partner.

FINAL
I used the clone tool to remove the shadows the lighting had created for this image. It was very tricky in certain areas such as her hair, the effect this created was it emphasized the model. I also used the clone tool and spot healing tool around her model to get rid of spots/freckles/moles as magazine I have been patching (Vogue) did this to create a perfect look for an ideal self or partner. As well images of Audrey Hepburn are very flawless and beautiful and as the meaning behind this image was to recreate her, I needed to edit this model flawless.

Magazines I have looked at, especially Fashion such as Vogue and Elle usually have a model doing this pose. I directed my model to pose like this. As the genre of my magazine is fashion I used high branded shopping bags in this image (Dior, Tiffany, Chanel). When editing I used the magnetic lasso tool to select the bags, and then I on brightness and contrast and turned to brightness down so the names of the brands showed up.
